Amazing Green Roof Images

Cities aren’t often seen as the most “green” of places. Our perception of urban development is often one of the concrete jungle and our lives in urban centers are often disconnected from the greenery that sustains life. Green roofs bring a little of that greenery back into our urban lives. They can insulate our buildings, provide wildlife habitats and reduce storm water run-off. In some cases they contribute to food production. On top of all the environmental stuff though, green roofs can be beautiful and contribute greatly to the living environment of our buildings.
